taylor won her FIRST VMA , it was very shocking & exciting to her . & as much as i love 'ye , he was soooo outta line for interrupting her awards speech like that . i mean , i admit to laughing about it .. but possibly his " EGO " is too big ??

while i completely agree that he was in the wrong, i wondered if the fallout would have been as bad if taylor swift looked different. we know how this country feels about young blond, blue-eyed white girls. if taylor swift would have been a 30-year-old brunette white chick, would people be as offended? if it would have been katie perry would people care? if it had of been a young black girl, would white america be as upset? kanye had pulled this before with a group of white guys at the awards show in england and nobody flinched, they simply laughed.
i listened to the radio and i recall one caller (who i believe to be white) and he started in on "if that was my daugher..." i'm not trying to make this a racial thing, i just think its interesting to see how america's subconcios was jarred when a young blonde blue-eyed girl was violated by a big black dude.
i 100 % think it's definitely a RACE factor because if he would've did it to say .... " Lil Mama " it would be a comedic issue & nothing more & i also think its wrong for the media to continue to bring his mother into it to add guilt onto his heart because we ALLL know how kanye loves to pull antics ...
