i assumed he was goin for the whole circus act, colorful, wild look. just didn't know it was going to last this long
i give kanye credit for changing up the hip hop game. he and tpain may be irritating as hell, but they both challenged the whole genre to think outside of the box in terms of music, creativity, videos, clothes, the whole bit. before the goal in hiphop was to sound like everyone else, but kanye and tpain made folks try to outdo one another by being different. i agree that kanye is kind of irritating, but i will always respect him for bringing creativity back to hiphop.
